Team Kollet wins 2nd Prize
The Team was supported by Ade Awokoya at the Hackathon and won 2nd Prize for their pitch on “Data Analytics-Customer Service” for Nigerian Banks. During the Hackathon we developed a wire-frame prototype for the “Predictive Behavioural Insight Platform”.
Further to the hackathon, the team has taken action with formation of the “Kollet startup” and are keen to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with support from Wayra accelerator.

AfricaTechDay17 Hackathon Challenge
7-8 July Fintech Hackathon organised by Angelus Consulting, with support from Wayra. Software developers, entrepreneurs, students and business professionals came together to form solutions to the challenges facing the continent.
A great opportunity to network, collaborate, learn, receive mentoring and take advantage of all the valuable resources provided at this weekend.
There was also a variety of challenges like Financial inclusion, Remittances and Crowdfunding. We explored how these could be tackled with technologies around Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Data Analytics and Open Banking platforms.
